The big anouncement

Well, it isn't that big at all..... But I am supporting Ron Paul for president. There are many reasons for this, but here are a few.

1)Ron Paul supports the constitution
2)Ron Paul wants to cut unnecessary government organizations
3)Ron Paul is awesome
4)Ron Paul wants us out of Iraq
5)Ron Paul is an isolationist in all the right ways

Basically Ron Paul's views line up perfectly with mine.

So Ron Paul is a presidential Candidate? Pardon my ignorance. Someone who supports the Constitution, intersting, the constitution can be interpreted several different ways. I want a Christian for president. Is Ron Paul Christian?

Ron Paul is amazing -- I really appreciate him.
(I wish he had a more serious chance of winning...)

I believe Ron Paul is a christain. But may I remind you, we havn't had a non-christain (or at least in name only) president, and look at all the messes they have made. For instance, our current president claims to be a born again christain, but his policies have harmed America. I think it is more important for a president to be a good president (for lack of a better word) than a christain.

And yes, Mackenzie, Ron Paul is amazing ;)

I don't want to sound argumentative, but did you know thast President Bush spends every morning on his knees in prayer? I'll admit, he's not the perfect man, but nobody is. I agree we need to have a good president, but how can a president be good without being a Christian? We need the best of both. Just my 0.02 Feel free to disagree with me

freedom exercised....

Well, I have two responses for that. How do you know he does? Was it something he said? And I'm going to be dollars to donuts that many people who have less than perfect motives also spend their mornings in prayer. Just look at the crusades. These were very godly men (the pope, cardinals, etc) who led the western world on one of the worst (and ill advised) wars in human history.

I heard something on K-love. You are absolutly right, the crusades were totally wrong. You can't force someone to be a christian. I'm just saying, you can't be the best president without God.
